“‘The Science Bridge’ initiative with its ‘Twin Institutes’ concept is a unique approach that aims to bring people of different nations and cultures together for trust building and improving human relations. With science as our common language, we will focus on brain research to find medical treatments for age-related memory dysfunction. Understanding brain functions will also help to drive innovative developments in information technology and artificial intelligence. We live in a multinational and multicultural world, where our interdependent on one another is critically needed. With ‘The Science Bridge’, we have here a great opportunity to be the first one to chart the course for the well-being of humanity.”
